Nautic epoxy filler based on epoxy resin covers a wide range of applications. The epoxy putty is suitable for repairing GRP boats, also below the waterline, to eliminate osmotic damage and for profiling work. Nautic Epoxy Filler has excellent adhesion properties on glass fiber reinforced parts, iron and cast aluminum, and on steel.
You can also use the water-resistant putty to fill epoxy laminates and also polyester laminates.
Nautic boat and car filler for over- and underwater applications convinces with fast curing, good sandability, high impact resistance and low shrinkage. The 2-component epoxy filler contains no solvents, is also resistant to oils, can be applied to steel, aluminum or hardwood in layers and does not run off even on vertical surfaces.
Mix Nautic Epoxy Putty in a ratio of 2: 1 base and hardener and apply the putty to a non-greasy, clean and sanded surface. The ambient temperatures should be at least 20 degrees, the mixture remains workable for about 20 minutes and can be sanded after 6 to 7 hours. When used on steel and aluminum boats, we recommend the application of a 2-component corrosion protection primer or Epoxy Universal Primer.
